At Kenny's work there is a piano, and an undisturbed hour before people start coming in. These recordings were a gift to me from Kenny in those hours, thinking fondly on a friend miles away. No lyric sheets or learning, just plinking out from memory to draw me near, recorded on his iphone. I love him and I love this gift.

When he gave it to me, he also gave me permission to share and "monetize" it if I ever felt like it, to help keep the wheels turning. I did see right away that it's something our mutual friends might also enjoy.

For awhile I enjoyed just keeping it special to myself, and probably I will always be its biggest fan, but now I am also happy to make it available. Kenny and I each are always making privately meaningful music then seeing how to share it with the world. I am sure it is our pleasure to share this collaboration as well.
